A great high spec laptop putting out 1400×1050 into an old projector at 800×600 will never look better than 800×600. Having said that I tend to prefer to insert lightly better quality graphics and let PowerPoint crunch them down in Slideshow mode. This is something PP seems to do a good job at! I have a slideshow problem. I create a slide show in LR6.6 and it works perfect on my Mac Book. But when I connect to a projector (Epson usually) via HDMI cable, it projects fine on the screen, the slides advance properly (in manual mode) BUT the mirrored images on the Macbook screen DON'T advance. The notebook screen 'freezes' on the first image or whatever image I start with (you can see the next thumbnails its trying to bring up to the screen inside the image that is showing. Problem occurred with at least two Epson different projectors a high end one and a simple one. Mac OS is 10.10.5, video card for notebook is Intel HD graphics 4000. Display is set to mirroring when connected to the projector. Anyone else experience this.
Cocktail 8 4 download free. The answer requires knowing what inputs are available on the projector, and which OS X version you're using. AirPlay Mirroring requires Mountain Lion or later OS.
Apt get gimp. The 2011 MacBook Pro has a Thunderbolt port, so a connection directly from the Mac to a projector with an HDMI input would use a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable such as this one from Monoprice:
Desktopr make wallpaper from any website 1 81. Or, use AirPlay Mirroring and the AppleTV's HDMI output. Those would be the easiest choices.

If the projector does not have an HDMI input then an option would be a Mini-DisplayPort to whatever video adapter the projector has - it might be VGA which would require a digital to analog adapter, or DVI, which would not.

I don't know what a projector would do with a USB input, but I doubt it is intended for video. Similarly, the MacBook's FireWire port isn't intended for video output either.
Thats them site. I have no idea what formats Windows can read.
